BATTLE GROUNDS is an obstacle course race that is designed for every athletic condition in mind with the goal of perpetual improvement no matter where you’re at in your conditioning featuring a 5k or 10k option for 2023! 

 BATTLE GROUNDS is brought to you by Oak Ridge MX, one of the gnarliest motocross tracks in the Midwest. This is our 9TH annual OCR that is guaranteed to keep you coming back for years to come! With a different course year to year it brings new challenges along with over 20 obstacles including mud pits, mud slides, climbs, timber runs, walls, balance beams and many more. This is NOT a flat course. You will encounter some of Iowa's largest hills and valleys! We encourage you to run with a group or with a friend! Either way our friendly staff will be everywhere helping you along the way!
